There are no specific power requirements to run RetailEdge. However, we strongly advise that you install an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). A UPS will minimize power surges and brown outs and will provide power to your system for a limited time if the power to your computer is interrupted.
RetailEdge is a mission critical application and a UPS is cheap insurance against potential data corruption and loss.
Generally, we recommend that every RetailEdge workstation has a UPS. The computer acting as the Data Server should always be connected to a UPS.
