To insert a picture with an inventory item, click on the inventory button on the toolbar to open the inventory list and then click on the Modify button. Then press the Picture tab. To load a picture, press on the Load button. This will display an open dialog box and allow you to choose the picture you want to load into the inventory. Pictures added to inventory items will be stored in an Images folder in the RetailEdge Data folder. The images will have the same name as the original image used, however a duplicate will be stored in the Images folder and the inventory item will reference this image. Only a reference to the image location is stored in the inventory data file and not the actual image. If you associate a same picture with multiple inventory items, only one instance of the picture will be created.
