merge customer - loyalty dollar broken

When you merge two customers, there loyalty dollar carry-over does not get carried over. Can you fix this?

HI, I'm wondering if you fixed this. we have been having to guess at the carry over and give partial loyalty dollars before the customer reaches the amount that we generally give them (spend 100 and get 10 credit if pay by cash, 5 if pay by CC), have you fixed it so that the carry over is correctly totaled when merging duplicate customers? thanks.

No but we have reopened the suggestion/bug to have it get another look. To help us determine how many people might benefit from this, can you let us know how many times this is happening and why? This will help us maybe identify a different solution. Some questions:

1. Why are you having so many duplicate customers?
2. What is your loyalty program $ setting ($/$ spent)?
3. Why aren't you catching the problem before you issue loyalty $.
