If you are printing tape style receipts to a slower dedicated receipt printer and need to have your RetailEdge receipt print faster, you can change the information that prints on a receipt. Simply choose Options from the Tools menu item and press the Receipt Status tab. Then change the Tape Style Receipts: Regular or Short Option. Setting this option to Short Length will remove the following information from a tape style receipt: Store address Date and time Customer ID and Name Store ID Clerk ID Stock Number and Item Number for each item on the ticket House Charge Balance.
