To sell a layaway, simply enter the customer and items onto the Sales Screen as you would for a normal sale, and then press the F9 function key to post the sale. On the Payment Screen, enter the amount the customer is giving you for the initial layaway payment and press the Layaway button. You can then view the layaways and take payments for layaways by choosing Sales Management|Layaway Sales from the Register menu item.
