If your Zebra 2824 /2844 barcode label printer is not printing correctly, here are some simple steps to take that might solve your problem.

1. Check that the printer is installed properly for the operating system you are using

2. Check that the barcode printer is setup and ready and the labels are being properly sensed by the printer (see the AutoSense Gap Sensor Adjustment section in the printer manual to see how to properly do this.)

3. Check the Zebra printer driver and make sure that is is setup to print to the size label you are printing to. The printer driver can be found in the Windows Control Panel Printers folder

4. Check the Label Guide in the printer is properly feeding and aligning the labels.

5. Check RetailEdge to make sure that it is setup to print to the desired label size. The default label size can be setup by modifying your workstation settings (Tools|Settings|Workstations). The default label size will also be displayed when you are printing the labels and can be changed at the time you print the labels.

When you print your labels from RetailEdge, you should try previewing your print job first. If the preview does not display a label similar to the one you are trying to print to, you have not setup the printer correctly and you should check your settings again.
