The manufacturer of the hardware dongles has updated the drivers for Windows Vista. The new drivers are built the RetailEdge installation routine for anyone who installs Version 8.0.13 or newer as a new installation.
If you are updating an Version that was originally installed prior to Version 8.0.13, you can download the updated USB driver that will work with Windows Vista at:
http://www.marx.com/ftp/pub/software/CR ... USetup.zip
Once you have downloaded the zip file, extract the files to a folder on your computer. Then choose Run from the Windows Start Menu. Then run the CbSetup.exe program. Then follow the directions for installation.
If you want to make sure the installation worked properly you can check the CBUSB Driver Version. It should read 2.0.7.214
