RetailEdge can be installed in a location other than the default location displayed during the setup program. However in order for you to do this you need to do the following after installing the program.
1. Open Windows Explorer and open the Server folder located in the directory where RetailEdge 8.0 is installed.
2. Run the program called RetailEdge_Status.exe.
3. Choose Set Databases from the Tools|Administration menu item.
4. You will see a list of databases. Edit each of them and set the Server Folder to the correct location where the databases are installed. This will typically be a subfolder of the Server folder where you launched the RetailEdge_Status program from.
5. Close the RetailEdge_Status program and RetailEdge should be able to run fine.
