    Zeroing Out Inventory

by RetailEdge Moderator » Wed Apr 24, 2013 10:59 am

    To Zero out the Inventory:

    1. Choose PICS|Zero Inventory from the Inventory menu item.

    2. Press Ok.

    3. Select Departments, all the Vendors, all Classes, and the locations you want to zero on the filter list.

    4. Press Ok on the filter list

    5. Press Ok on the Zero Inventory screen.

Your inventory quantities will then be 0 for the selected Departments, Vendors and Classes.

Note: This is an Optional step and should only be done if you are satisfied that the PICS records contain the entire inventory for the selected Departments, Vendors, and Classes.

By default RetailEdge has the Department, Vendor, Class and Location filters added to the list of current filters. These filters have been added as empty filters to prompt you to add the appropriate filters before running this utility. No vendors, classes, locations or departments have been checked to minimize the chance of having inventory inadvertently zeroed. Before zeroing out your inventory, you will have to select each filter from the current filter list, check the appropriate vendors, etc. and press the Replace button to add the desired filter to the current filter list.
