    Directory in Use...

    by VNP2012 » Wed Jul 18, 2012 10:44 am

I keep getting an error message that reads:

Directory In Use By Earlier Version of Paradox
    C:\Data\PDOXUSRS.LCK
    C:\Data\Paradox.LCK

Why is this happening and how can I fix it??

We don't support version 7.5 anymore. There might be some existing items on this forum. Or you could upgrade to the newer version which we do support.

In the same directory as the driver there is a file called Test_Verifone Utility (Test_Verifone.zip). Download this file and this should allow you to determine if you are actually communicating with the device through the COM port.

That utility has nothing to do with the lck or net files. This file is a utility that was written to test the communications from the computer to the Verifone SE1000 PinPad, which we do support.
