Workaround for Scaling Issue in RetailEdge 8.2.47

If you have your scaling turned on to 125% or higher, you may have noticed an issue in the RetailEdge where some things aren't scaled properly. This can be a number of different issues for different users, but what we have noticed is any combination of the following:

-Home screen buttons not scaled out to the edge of the panel
-Quicklist and other Sales Screen options being cut off
-Edit Receiving window cut off by improper scaling

We have provided a workaround for this issue, however it is a little different depending on what version of Windows you are running. The following is intended for Windows 10 users:

    1. From your desktop, right click
    2. Select Display Settings*
    3. Select Advanced Settings
    4. Select Sizing, Text, and other Items
    5. Select Set Custom Scaling Level
    6. Set it to 100%
    7. Apply. Sign out and sign back in.

Once you are signed back in, you can see when RetailEdge has opened up that the screen is back to its default size.

In Windows 10, Right click on the desktop again and go back into Display Settings.

From here, you can now use the slider bar to scale back up to 125% and click apply. You do not have to sign out and sign back in.

Exit out of RetailEdge and back in, and it should now be scaled properly to the edges of the panel and the text in the Sales Screen shouldn't be cut off anymore.

You can click here for more information about this issue from another trusted online forum.

For Windows 7 Users: We recommend returning to the default scaling of 100%:

    1. Right click on desktop
    2. Select Screen Resolution
    3. Select "Make text and other items larger or smaller"
    4. Click on "Smaller- 100% (default)"
    5. Apply
    6. Select "Log off now"

Your text in RetailEdge is now the default size, and no longer cutting off from the sides of the screen.
