RetailEdge 8.2.46 Release Notes

This release provides a large number of program fixes and adds a number of user suggested features.

Enhanced Features

1. Added the ability to use the ISC250 with signature capture to the Vantiv integration.

2. Added the ability to use the RetailEdge ItemID field as a key field for CSV imports.

3. E-mail PO now uses e-mail address from Vendor automatically.

4. Added a combined credit card payment type for MC-VISA-AMEX-Discover.

5. Added a new security tag for Purchase Order - Receive PO (All). This tag will disable the All button when receiving a PO, to force clerks receiving to check the quantities being received.

6. Mercury Payment Systems rebranded as Vantiv Integrated Payments.

7. Added option to Exclude Zero Sales the Sell Through, Turn Rate and Warehouse Transfer reports. This will allow you to see items that may not have sold which were previously excluded from the report.

Fixes

1. Full page receipts for declined chip cards is now displayed properly in front of the Sales Screen

2. Declined chip card receipts now properly switches payment methods if the card used is different from the selected one in RetailEdge.

3. Layaway Detail, Loyalty Detail, Gift Card Detail, Store Credit Report and Open Order Report now filter for Zero Balances based on the As Of Date Filter selected.

4. REDI imports are now correctly validating the Inventory Section fields.

5. Closing report now correctly calculates taxable amounts in the rare case you have ticket overlap on same Register ID.

6. Merge customer function will no longer ignore leading or trailing spaces when checking for the existence of a customer for the merge.

7. Restarting the database server when a client is running will no longer get an access violation and high CPU usage.

8. Workstation tab with RetailEdge Island is now always displayed whether active or not.

9. Added the D3 header for three dimensional matrixes in the PO Lines Export.

10. Sales by Date Comparative Report will now properly run when a clerk filter is applied.

11. Now allow manual addition of a payout at a location where it already exists in another location.

12. REDI imports now properly recognizes and imports taxable column.

13. Shopify integrator now properly imports payment methods for sales for location where the integrator is installed.

14. Background Cache Updater no longer causes restore function to fail (Soft).

15. Fixed coupon adjustment made to sales to account for differences between on-line sales amounts with Shopify and Modern Retail web integrations (Soft).

16. Fixed title on Closing report reprint (Soft).

17. Error message is now displayed before a declined EMV transaction to minimize clerk confusion (Soft).

18. More screen form repositioning in multi-monitor installations (Soft).

19. Fixed matrix children creation when user selects only to add new (<>0) items (Soft).

20. Memorized reports using clerk filters now properly memorizes selected clerks.

21. Sell through report now runs properly (Soft).

22. Fixed failure to update due to RetailEdge having incorrect number of users being reported in the program (Soft).
