Reports

Client Server Architecture

• The client/server software architecture is a versatile architecture that improves flexibility and scalability. A client is defined as a requester of services and a server is defined as the provider of services. A single machine can be both a client and a server depending on the software configuration.
• This means that RetailEdge will be extremely stable and will maintain data integrity across wireless networks and the Internet.

QuickBooks Links

Direct links to QuickBooks. RetailEdge will put the data into QuickBooks Pro or Premier with the touch of a button. RetailEdge allows you to map your department information into different accounts in QuickBooks Pro.

Credit Card Processing

In addition to processing with PCCharge, RetailEdge has a direct links to Mercury Payment Systems (MPS) and Payment Processing Inc (PPI). This eliminates the need to purchase additional programs and provides a seamless integration. Partnering with PPI or MPS saves you money.

OPOS Peripheral Device Support

RetailEdge can use any supported device that has an OPOS Driver. The OPOS drivers allow RetailEdge to work with cash drawers, receipt printers and label printers that are not specifically listed in our device definition files. This allows users who migrate to RetailEdge from different or older POS systems to use their existing equipment if the equipment is supported by OPOS drivers.
