RetailEdge has the ability to have an Export/Report Code that you can use to create custom filters for either exports or reports. To create an export code for an item click on the Inventory button on the Toolbar, select the item you want to assign the Report Code to and then press the Modify button. Click on the Inventory 2 tab and type in the Export/Report Code you want to assign to the item. When you are finished press the Save button. You will then be able to type in an Export/Report Code on the Filter Screen when you are either exporting your inventory or running an inventory or sales report.
