How do I turn off the sounds on retailedge?
I searched topics and it said to go to TOols-then options but I don't see that as an option.

There is no way to turn off sounds in 8.2. You are probably finding information about 7.5 on the forums. This program had a Tools Options setting.

What sounds are you trying to turn off? RetailEdge just uses the standard Windows error sounds. So if you go into Windows Control Panel settings and turn these off you should be good to go.

Ha! I just tried to find a link on turning off sound and it was my old post. We run our music out of the computer and so when I close or do something wrong on the retail edge it makes the little ding dong sound. This is then played for all of our customers to hear.
Hope there is a way to turn off sound now.

There is no way to turn off the sounds in RetailEdge. We are just using the normal error sounds that Windows displays. You can turn off these sounds in the Control Panel Sounds options.

That should do it for you.
