    Shipped Sales Report

    by peakskishop » Wed Apr 09, 2014 9:58 am

    Hi-
Is there a report that can tell us what % of sales we shipped? We do click the 'ship this sale' button on all transactions that we ship (and obviously there is a shipping address for the customer), but I wasn't sure where that actually showed up or if it could be used for reporting purposes. What report would you suggest and how should I query it?

Also, where can I find information on 'promo codes'? I could see how going forward we could use a promo code to differentiate a shipped sale from a non-shipped sale, but I don't know how or where to add a promo code.

    Thanks!

There is no report currently that will summarize your shipping totals. Just the detail of each of the sales that have shipped (sales shipping report). Once you run the shipping report then you can quickly export the report to Excel (Data Only). Then you can just summarize the extended totals on the bottom of the spreadsheet. If you are charging shipping on all these sales, then you might want to first sort by the Stock Number field and strip out the shipping items.

Promotion code can be added to RetailEdge from the Tools menu. However I am not sure that doing this is going to be your best option and sometime clerks forget to add this to the sale. Then your data would be a little skewed.

    Hope this helps.

If I do add a promo code, how do I apply that promo code to a sale?

Promo codes are added to the sale on the Payment Screen

Okay, final question....can you post more than one promo code to a transaction at a time?
