Error Message since update

I received the following error message when we try to ring a gift certificate. Never had this problem before update. Please advise.

RetailEdge has experienced an error. You might need to restart the application.

Please check your version. This was an issue with 8.2.30 and was fixed the next day in 8.2.31.

If you are not running 8.2.30 all you need to do is update.
