To transfer your data files from the terminal to the computer:

1. On the terminal, go File Options – Send File, and Pause on Serial

2. On the computer, open the application ptfer.exe.

3. On the Percon Portable File Transfer Screen choose Options.

4. Choose Connect.

5. Wait until "Comm… Port Opened" is displayed. If that message is not displayed check the port you are connected to by choosing Settings from the Options menu.

6. Choose the File menu item and select File Name.

7. Give the file a meaningful name ending in .txt. The number of characters in front of the period should not exceed six.

8. Then press Ok.

9. On the Computer, now press File and then Receive. You should get a message saying "Waiting for ........"

10. On the terminal, hit the F2 button for Serial.

11. Wait for both the terminal and the computer to say that they are done.

Note: Every time that you upload a file from the terminal, make sure that you give the file a different name so you do not overwrite your data.
