The tape style receipt printers are not really geared to printing reports. They are really designed to provide information about the items sold to a customer in a small form factor so that they can put the information in their wallet, etc. In addition the receipt printers are useful for printing tape style closing reports. Many times dedicated POS machines are not connected to the network and owners want their clerks to be able to print out a total of the days sales with limited information about costs.
Most of the RetailEdge reports are designed to print on a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. There is typically too much information that needs to be displayed for it to fit on a tape style receipt printer.
What many people do is:
Plug a regular Windows printer into the POS computer, or
Map to a network printer and print their reports to that regular Windows printer, or
Export the reports to a PDF and e-mail them or put them onto a USB key for printing on a computer that has a regular Windows printer.
Hope this helps.
On a slightly different note, you should have contacted us about getting a receipt printer before you purchased the printer. We could have made you aware of any limitations or issues. Also we would have probably recommended a different printer. This Star TSP143 is the easiest to install and it comes with a utility that allows you to print coupons and easily get your logo onto the receipt.

I also want to be able to print customer pick lists on this printer. I don't want to buy another printer for reports and pick lists. A full page pick list would waste a lot of paper and ink ect..... Any suggestions?
