Item number vs SKU

    Item number vs SKU

    I thought when I was receiving a item, I type in the item # in the receiving, the screen goes to the quantity box. It shows the item number at the top, I thought it used to show the sku. I have to switch back to the main screen to be sure I haven't made any mistake in typing. If I am off by one number I could be receiving the wrong item. Is there a way to make it show the SKU or description.

    Good catch. We have made a number of changes to the forms in the last release. I don't know if this is an oversight or whether we were just trying to make someone happy. I have added it to the suggestion/ bug database. Hopefully we can change it back in a future release or maybe display both so that everyone is happy.
