As a clothing retailer, we have many items that come in big & tall sizes. The problem is the manufacturer uses the same item number but charges more for the Big & Tall sizes, and their retail is more. What is the best way to handle this. I like using the matrix and being able to update the prices, but then I have to go back in adn edit all the upcharged sizes.

I would create a different item for the big and tall with different pricing using the matrix. Then you can use the Vendor Number so that the proper item gets identified on the Purchase Order.

If you are using manufacturer's tags for scanning and they are the same, then you could always use one of the UPC fields and have the same number in the UPC1 field. That way when the tag is scanned, two items will be displayed allowing the clerk to choose which one he is selling.

If you use your own labels for scanning at the POS then there should not be an issue.
