I was wondering if different prices can be assigned to 1 item ? I would like to have a certain price for my customers, and then a different price for my staff. Is it possible to do that ? how would I chose the corresponding price depending on who purchases the item (customer or staff). So I have an item that sells at $10.00 to the customer, that the system recognizes perfectly, but then my staff comes to purchase the same item, and I want to sell it to them at a different price ( lets say $8.00). How do I go about setting up that 2nd price for my staff

RetailEdge can do this in a couple of ways.

1. You can setup up to 5 different price levels. So you could in your case setup the item to have price level 2 be $8.00. Then you would setup your employees as customers that have price level 2 discounting.

2. You could also setup a cost plus, or percentage off type discount rule for your employees.

Each has advantages.
