    Receipt Default

    by Gallery 54 » Thu May 24, 2012 5:57 pm

I have changed the Receipt Quantity default several times to a quantity of three (which is the minimum number of copies we need for every transaction). It keeps going back to 1. Can you offer any insight?

Also the maximum number is five without going into sales manager to print extras. Is there a way to change this? I need a receipt for each artist on a sale we sometimes sell 10 or more artists work to one individual.

    Many thanks for your help.

That's a good one. We will look into that for you. We will also see if we can bump up the maximum number of receipts. Most of the time people don't want to print any any more. And we get requests for ways to e-mail and to stop wasting paper. But I don't see any reason why we should not at least allow the option.

I am unable to recreate this. Are you still having this issue? On what sales screen? Are you sure you are editing the correct workstation?

Yes, we still have the problem. We only have one workstation so I am sure I am editing the right one...
    Here's what I do:
Tools, Settings, Workstations, Main (our only workstation), Modify, Receipt Options, √Ask for Receipt Count (before printing receipt), Receipt Count....change to 3, Receipt Delay...I've had both 0 and 1 here but makes no difference, Save.

I just logged into your system, changed the quantity to 3, printed a receipt and it seemed to be Ok.

Not sure what you were doing but let us know if it happens again.

    Thanks for your help.

Not sure what you are doing to get this to happen, but give us a call next week when you are there and we can show you how to make it stick.
