Sorry if this has been asked and answered before, but I'm trying to figure out whether there's a report we can run that shows both (1) how many of an item have sold over a certain period of time, and (2) how many of that item are currently in stock.

Any of the inventory compound reports should do what you want.

Compound reports are designed to show item movement for a given period of time. These reports show what is currently on order (purchase order quantities), on hand (current inventory quantity). The reports also show what has been received and sold over a given period of time. Compound reports will give you a good analysis of inventory flow and can help with reordering.

· Compound
· Compound - Receiving by Month
· Compound - Sold by Month
· Compound by Category. Category reports summarize information by the particular category chosen for the include/sort order (vendor, department, class, etc.).
· Inventory Sell Through
· Inventory Turn Rate
