hey Good Morning,

When i attempt to transfer items from one location to another, when I save the item i want to transfer, RE is giving me an error saying Warning: Retail Edge is in Demo mode. This record cannot be posted. i check my server connections, and I see that RE is not in demo mode, but just to see if it would work, i switched to demo mode, and I tried the Xfer again, and I got the same error. Then i switched back to the first set of settings, and yet again it still gave me the same error.

1.) Do I have to have the real working version to carry out this function ?

I think you are getting confused between Demo Mode and Demo Database. Since this is a pretty common question I have added it as a FAQ here
