RetailEdge 8.2.2 Release Notes

This release is primarily a bug fix release.

Features

1. Touchscreen interface will now allow users to change the button colors.

2. Added the ability to change other workstation settings with out effecting other workstations printer settings.

3. Added Ability to Add PO to Posted Sale.

4. Changed the way credit card processing tokens are stored to allow better security and convenience when editing and creating workstations.

5. Added Validation to Test for Spaces in SKU when cutting and pasting.

6. Changed the way Aliases are allowed to be entered in Inventory Editor to better allow for entering multiple Aliases with a barcode scanner.

Fixes

1. Inventory As-0f-date on inventory reports was not using UTC time and so filtering for quantity adjustments within the UTC offset would not be properly reported.

2. Editing a Vendor on a PO will no longer lose the associated Vendor when the Vendor ID is changed.
Vendor information will refresh after editing Vendor information on a PO.

3. PICs Differential and Comparison Reports will now properly display inventory items for different locations even if the items have never been received into these locations.

4. Inventory editor for items added to receiving will properly display serial numbers. Was displaying each serial number more than once.

5. Bronze customers will now be able to see update changes.
Copying sales from previous transactions will no longer copy Purchase Order numbers.

6. Non-Entered item costs will now be calculated from the department average margins for items on Open Orders and Saved Sales.

7. Sales Screen will show house charge balance on caption bar without challenging when Action Level for sales screen is zero and security is turned on. The security tag to control this is in the Security Action List Register Settings: Sales Manager - House Charges.

8. Coupon Sale Discount will now allow filtering on time.

9. Customer Only Discounts now properly working without addition of items (Customer/Inventory).

10. Voiding Sales will no longer cause incorrect customer information to be displayed on the bottom of a receipt.

11. Added startup checks to see if audit log records older than a year. If so, RetailEdge will suggest that the user the Purge Log Files utility.

12. Consolidated Start Up Sequences to remove the possibility of dongle check errors.

13. Added delay to prevent NTDLL.DLL Error caused by closing windows before the report/export had been fully executed.

14. Payment screen now gets cleared and amount still due is reset after a credit card failure .

15. Item discounts on sales screen can now override Customer Discount %.

16. Fixed issue where PO Cost Original in multi-locations not getting properly set to blank value.

17. Disabled ability to void a transaction for another location from Sales Manager.
