Hi Guys,

I was running a PICS Inventory Compare Report today and for some reason it was not printing out the items that had zero as the Inventory Qty. It used to compare PICS Qty items (counted items) to a zero qty before what is going on? When I ran A PICS List report it showed all the items I counted. So something must have changed in your comparison reporter. Will you check into this please.

The PICs Reports available have not changed for quite awhile. As you can see from the Forum Posting posting at the beginning of 2008

The PICs reports should be showing everything in your PICs list every time regardless of the inventory quantity (unless you are doing some sort of filter on quantity). So this is kind of strange. All of the PICs reports are generated out of the PICs list with the exception of the Shrinkage reports which are Inventory based.

Is this a new item. Are you running the report for one location? We might want to have a look at your data, and so you might want to e-mail support. But let me know.

It worked fine before, but there have been two recent incidents where items with a zero quantity in the existing inventory did not show up on the report even though the Item showed in the PICS list with a value. I dot know why this would change. It didn't do that before.

It happened once at the McKinleyville store with a new item. The item was visible in the PICS list but didn't show on the Pics inventory Compare Report

It happened the same way in the Samoa Warehouse location (newer location) with an older product.

Any insight as to why it would do that with new items?

Hi,

I have had another incident of an item visible in the PICS list not showing on the PICS comparison report.

This time it was an item that we only order in cases. We have a single item listing that is set to break a case when the item is sold.

I have noticed a trend. If an Item had never been received into RE then it doesn't show on the report even though it shows in the PICS list. When a product breaks from a case, it is never going to be received into the inventory as is. It will always come into the inventory through a received case breaking.

I think the cause of this glitch needs to be confirmed and fixed.
