When you voided the sale, the balance used on the sale should have automatically gone back on the gift card.
There is no way to Void a Void (or unvoid) other than to simply re-do the sale. To do this:
1. Open the Sales Manager and find the Sale you Voided.
2. Press on the Payments Tab. There should be a button called Gift Cards that you can use to find the number of the gift card used.
3. Press the Copy Sale button and copy the sale back into the Sales Screen and process the sale normally using the number you found in step 2.
At this point you probably have already posted the sale from a previous date. If you really need to (and you may because we are in another month now), you can backdate a sale by pressing Ctrl-Alt-D on the Sales Screen and set the date to a previous date. The sale will show up in todays sales on the closing (because it is technically part of today's batch) but your sales history for reports, etc. will show the sale being done on the day you set the sale to.
OtterMgr1 wrote:Today I accidently voided a sale via Sales Manager that contained gift card(s) redemption information. How can I unvoid the sale and reinstate the gift card value without having the gift card number? i.e. Customer bought $150 worth of merchandise, used $175 gift card and I put the balance on gift card. But I voided the sale (yikes!), how can I fix it???
Thank you,
