hey Guys,
we were looking to start using the TODO system to communicate with our Sales Staff. I was wondering if there was a way for the Clerk to be alerted that he or she has a TODO item, without actually clicking on TOOLS and TODO Activity Manager. Much like if you leave a Note on a customer's account, you can have an alert at the sales screen. It would be very helpful if when the Clerk signs in for the 1st time, they get a note or a link to their message. I don't know if this is possible?
And yes I know it should be easy for the clerks to just click on the TODO manager, but the store owners out there know that teaching the staff new tricks can be tricky LOL

Good suggestion. We have been waiting for users to comment on the TODO items but have not had much to date. If you think of any others let us know.

The alert feature would be GREAT! We started using the todo list and abandoned it as everyone was forgetting to check it.

We also had a problem with showing open items...the date ranges were a bit awkward for the reports or we just couldn't get the hang of it.
