Did the 8.1.10 update this morning, on register 1 all is normal, the date and time in the lower right corner of the screen counts down the seconds. On register 2 it counts it down, but both the date and time flash as it counts down the seconds, kind of mild annoying. It didn't do this before the update, I did the update on the office, as well and it is normal. Register 1 and office are running XP Pro, Register 2 is running Vista Ultimate.

OK I just went back to the retail edge screen, on register 2 and it back to normal. It did the flashing last night and this morning. I have even exited and restarted and all is normal. I don't know why this happened, but it seems fine now.

I don't think any changes were made to this part of the program. I have a copy of 8.1.7 and we are counting down the seconds here as well. But I will check into it for you. Is this a 64 bit or 32 bit version?

Good ol' Vista. We have been testing on Windows 7 for quite sometime and think this is going to be much better and less of a problem for users.

Bill, just running 32 bit, I 'm not sure what happened, but it stopped after I did the update on the office.
Updated Register 2 late yesterday afternoon (the Vista machine) noticed the flashing.
Updated Register 1 this morning (XP Pro) register 2 still flashing.
