This update is a minor update that addresses some of the suggestions and problems introduced in the 8.1.3.

As a part of the new SMP (Software Maintenance Plan) we will be making significant changes to the program. Although we make an effort to change the program to meet the needs of our customers, with so many customers the new feature(s) sometimes don't work for everyone. After a major release like 8.1.3 we will be most likely updating the program a short time after to include minor changes to the new features.

This type of release schedule does not mean that you should not perform the major update and just wait for a smaller follow-on release. Without downloading the major release you will not know what changes YOU might want made to the new features introduced in the major release.

The minor changes are listed below.

1. When editing the inventory the pricing highlight will now default to the current location in a multi-location business. This will allow you to more quickly made to inventory prices.

2. The highlight focus will start on the cost column for Recieving and Purchase Orders. But will remain on the Price 1 column when editing a Transfer Order or Inventory item.

3. Added security for Activities.

4. As a part of our new PA DSS (Payment Application Data Security) we are no longer able to log into a customers computer for technical support using Remote Desktop outside of a VPN or other secure remote application (Log Me In Rescue) if you are storing or processing credit cards. There now is a cc data label on the Help About screen that will tell you whether you are storing customer credit card data. This will also help you to know what type of PCI Self Assessment Questionnaire you will have to fill out for PCI compliance.

5. Deleted POs will now allow viewing and undeletion of the items by editing the PO. The PO Manager will now show the deleted Purchase Orders in red when check box to view the deleted POs is checked.

6. the REDI import Viewer for Customer now includes the Last Date field.

7. Copying inventory items to receiving and typing a minus (for returns) under certain circumstances will no longer cause an error.
