    Setting up Crystal Reports

    I have started a 30 day trial of Crystal Reports. But I am having trouble getting started. Can you provide some basic instructions on how to link the database to Crystal Reports?
    It seems like it should be easy but I am not finding the right file in the "data" folder.

    Patrick,

    You will need a copy of the ODBC driver (which I think you can download a demo of) from Elevate Software.

    The sales information for RetailEdge is located in a number of different files that you will need to join in Crystal Reports. The tables you want to look at are

    Sales
    Sales_Items
    Invent
    Invent_Loc
    Settings_Loc
    Vendor
    Department

    Let me know if this does not do it for you.
