RetailEdge point of sale software has hundreds of reports. Each report gives you a little different view into your data. If you have two different reports and can't understand why the numbers are different, the best think to do is make sure your filters for the two reports are similar (date ranges, vendors, departments, etc.). If the two reports are still giving you different results, you should try to narrow your filters down until you can identify the specific differences. For instance, narrow the report to a single day, or vendor or even SKU. Usually you will be able to quickly see what the differences are once you do this.

If you have identified the particular differences with a narrow filter range and still can't understand it, you can always e-mail or fax the reports to us and we can most likely quickly tell you what is causing the differences.
