The following features and minor fixes have been added to Version 8.1.0. All RetailEdge 8.1 users will be automatically classified as Bronze, Silver or Gold level. If you want to find more information about these levels please click on the following link.

Features/Suggestions

1. Memorized Reports Tab on Report Selector. Reports will save last run report and remember filter information.
2. Implemented new SQL features that can speed up many inventory and sales reports as much as 5-10x.
3. Gift Card Report will now report on zero balance gift cards when filtering for a spefic card number.
4. Pole Display will now show weight as quantity when using an attached scale.
5. Added new additional credit card security functions.
6. Moved all credit card processing functions to be in a separate unit to allow for more streamlined PABP/PADSS compliance.
7. The full page receipt will now show "Page X of Y" (under the ticket number).
8. Implemented Software registration process - Software registration now will take place to allow people to participate in the Software Maintainance Plan.
9. When using PPI Paymover for credit card processing, we have added a Register ID to make it easier to search on transactions.
10. Program no longer allows changing Matrix Def on Existing items.
11. Sales Manager now has a line item for Cash Drawer Calculator when the cash drawer calculator initiates a drawer open.
12. Audit Log now logs when a user accesses a credit card number on file.
13. The cursor placement after a SKU change will highlight the newly named item and the cursor will be remain in the same location after an item deletion.
14. Tools Settings Server now automatically Close Welcome Center Screen.
15. Inventory Purge Function no longer does a table optimize after the purge.
16. Vendor Manager now shows Sales, Receiving and On Order for each Vendor.

Fixes

1. PO Items will now refresh properly under certain circumstances
2. The QuickBooks Edit Fields will now display properly if the form is sized narrowly.
3. Fixed rare case where RetailEdge ticket numbers were being assigned a -1.
4. Customer Merge will now work if an active customer ID matches a deleted customer ID.
5. Compound Reports now correctly reporting receiving and on order when group by location unchecked.
6. The procedures that post a receiving record or a PO record now update the matrix parent with the new last cost when adding matrix children through the parent item.
7. Deleted Clerks can no longer get associated with Sales Items
8. Matrix PO Export/Import now properly handles Matrix Definitions
9. Inventory REDI file Import no longer duplicates item numbers
10. F12 Scale item does not now properly displays the extended price on the sales screen
