Ok. So 8.0.18 was not the last update before 8.1. and there were a few minor things we wanted to change. The following changes/additions have been made to the version 8.0.19.

1. In 8.0.18 we added additional security to the Cash Drawer Calculator. Since the Cash Drawer Calculator is opening the cash drawer and needs to post in a No Sale, it is asking for a starting cash amount. Now for users who might be using the Cash Drawer Calculator at the beginning of the day, if a sales session is not open, RetailEdge will not try to open the cash drawer. So users will not be asked for starting cash amount. In addition if the Cash Drawer Calculator is started during a closing, if the user has already been authorized, they will not be asked for another password.

2. Sometimes when changing the FROM Address on a Transfer Order General Tab, the FROM address does not get changed on the FROM tab even though the user chooses the option to update the address. This effected the address on a printed Transfer Order.

3. The Sales Screen on a Last Name exact pattern match when the find screen was not displayed could pick up a deleted customer with the same last name.

4. Added the Description column back to the Vendor Manager. This is a non-sortable column.

5. When viewing the Workstation list, the highlighted workstation will default to the users current workstation. This allows users to more easily see which workstation they should be editing in a multi-workstion environment.

6. The barcode on Was/Is labels was too long for items with Item IDs that were 5 characters. This only effects customers printing this label and who have converted data from an earlier version.

7. When adding a new customer, the label for loyalty program dollars was displaying a non-blank value.
