The following features and minor fixes have been added to Version 8.0.18. This is the last update we will be doing for Version 8.0. The next RetailEdge release will be Version 8.1. All 8.0 users will be automatically moved to 8.1 Users will either be Bronze, Silver or Gold level 8.1 If you want to find more information about these levels please click on the following link.

Features/Suggestions
1. Manager Screens will now go to last record for a particular customer, item histories, and sales. This will make it easier to recall sales and see the last item purchased by a particular customer or the last time an item was sold, received, ordered, etc.
2. Transfer Orders list will now show To and From for the location selected. The columns can then be sorted so that you can see all TOs to and From a particular location in the view.
3. Customer Editor now has a Loyalty Dollar carry over amount that will allow users to tell the customers how close they are to having loyalty dollars issued.
4. Scrolling wheel scrolling on reports is more fluid
5. Removed date warning for Purchase Order dates. Although this feature can be helpful we received too many complaints about the warning.
6. Adding a Package Item on the Sales Screen and changing the Sales Screen @ quantity will now put that amount of packages on the sales screen allowing users to more quickly sell multiple packages.
7. Increased speed of ASCII Exports.
8. Clarified Blank Printer when adding a new workstation. Many users did not know what this warning referred to.
9. Memorized Column Widths on many screens (inventory, customer, sales)
10. Added a quantity filter to the PIC Zero function. This will allow users to do things like zero only negative items in your inventory.
11. When the Cash Drawer Calculator is used on a closing retailedge will now ask for a password and will post in a no sale when the drawer is opened.
12. Added a vendor manager. Vendor manager will now show Sales, Receiving History and On Order for a particular vendor.
13. RetailEdge will now rebuild the users file on startup.
14. RetailEdge will now ask for a confirmation when pressing Ctrl-T on a Sales Screen to make the sale tax exempt. Some users were inadvertently pressing this key combination
15. Bottom of Sales Screen will display Loyalty $ balance when on the Payment Tab.
16. PICs will now do a final search on Alias field when adding items to the PICs list. This matches the import.
17. The Tools menu now has an Optimize Tables option. After using a data table for a period of time, it can be useful to optimize the table. Optimizing a table will remove free space from a table and organize the data more efficiently. This can speed up the time it takes to view tables and run reports.


Minor Bug Fixes
1. After looking up and selecting an item on a transfer order all of the item information will now be automatically added to the item screen.
2. Layaway payment to a credit card for less than minimum amount no longer can double post to credit card.
3. Receiving report now displays vendor received from and not the current inventory vendor.
4. Fixed flashing on Sales Screen maximizing.
5. Error message no longer displays when changing a PO Name and then printing a report.
6. Fixed timing issue on Sales Manager screen when security is turned on under certain circumstances the inventory item would not open when double clicking item.
7. Fixed quantity filter on receiving, receiving history and inventory exports to allow exporting of only certain quantities.
8. Fixed closing summary report date. Was using UTC and now uses local time.
9. Reset discounts now resets items to Price 1.
10. Fixed report title for Worst Sellers report.
