It looks like printing labels defaults to the quantity you are either receiving or that you have in inventory.

We just put 1 label on the shelf for the product, is there a way to change all items you are printing labels for to just print 1 label? I know I can go through each item, but that can get tedious if you have to print a lot of labels.

There is a label count value on the Location Tab, when creating an item in Receiving. This is used for customers who like you are printing one shelf tag or might be receiving 5000 feet of rope but need only one label for the spool or might be using preprinted tags from the manufacturer so don't want to print any tags.

When you press the Labels button on the Toolbar, RetailEdge will print all items in your Receiving file (using the Label Count Value). This might speed things up for you.

Also if you multi-select in inventory or receiving, and press the labels button on the right hand side of the receiving or inventory manager form. This will display a Print Label form, that you can easily and quickly change the quantity to be printed to 1 but typing 1 and then pressing the down error, etc.

Whichever works best for you.
