Is it possible to print sales receipts without the Stock#?

Yes, you can turn off the "Include Detailed Item Info" option in the Receipt Options form. This will turn off the printing of both the stock number and the item number.

To change the receipt options, do the following:

1) From the Main Menu, select Tools / Settings / Workstations.

2) Modify the appropriate workstation.

3) Select the Receipt Options tab.

4) Click the "Advanced Receipt Options" button.

It would be nice to have the option to only print the item number and not the stock number. The item number is customer and employee facing and very useful for returns.. etc. Having the stock number on the receipt (for customers and competitors) could easily be used against the business.

Agreed. I'll add your suggestion to our list. That said, this type of change might not happen until a feature release (as opposed to a maintenance release) since it would involve a data change.
