Can you give us more information on this PPI Paymover Gateway? How it works? What reports we are able to print out? How it compares to PCCharge? I also nees the ability to process off the system charges, how would this work?

The primary difference between the PPI PayMover Gateway and using PC Charge is that with PayMover, RetailEdge is able to "talk" directly to the PayMover Gateway without having to communicate through PC Charge. This means processing times are faster since RetailEdge does not have wait for PC Charge to process the credit card (i.e. it removes another layer of software out of the process).

For those folks who do not already have PC Charge, it also means less expense since the PayMover connection is built right into RetailEdge. There is no additional cost for this feature.

With PayMover, RetailEdge is certified to process debit cards. This can save you money on transactions over $35.00.

One advantage of PC Charge is that, it can work with all the major merchant services processors. PayMover works directly with PPI (Payment Processing Inc.). That said PPI offers great rates and will probably be able to save you money.

When you sign up with PayMover, you'll get access to a set of web-based utilities. These utilities will allow you to run lots of reports and to manually post charges (outside of RetailEdge).
