We're on it...
We think the slowness might be coming from a couple of different places. The first thing to try doing is to make sure the Inventory Manager is closed (or close all windows except for the sales screen). If you need to have the Inventory Manager open, please try setting the Detail field to OFF on the quantity tab.
We are busy researching this issue and hope to have a fix by tomorrow morning. We apologize for the slowness. An attempt to make some performance improvements clearly backfired in certain situations with certain data. Not everyone is affected by the slowness but a number of customers are.
