There is no definitive list of pending changes that we are working on. Having these features listed leads to unrealized expectations as the features that get into RetailEdge for a particular release are subject to change based on customer demand and market conditions.
For instance, the credit card industry has mandated some requirements that applications that transmit and store credit card information undergo a validation process that ensures that the application does this in a secure manner (PA-DSS validation). This is something we have recently done. However it took about 6 months to complete. Although this is very important this pushed out a number of other feature enhancements that we have had in the queue.
Many customers now want remote access because everyone is walking around with a iphone or blackberry. A year ago the landscape was very different in terms of how people wanted access to their data. So these changes in the marketplace change which features get priority. If 500 customers start saying we need to have feature XYZ we will probably reprioritize the feature list to get these features out quicker. Some of the new touchscreen features were results of resellers and end users clamoring for this functionality. So you can see that future feature enhancements are a pretty dynamic target and although with the new SMP and Server Plan options we are getting these out to users quickly, we are a little hesitant to say what and when a feature might be released.
